I think one of the most important things to remember in life is that you cannot force change on anyone. You cannot force their eyes to see what you see. You cannot force their heart to love with the capacity your heart can love. You cannot force their mouth to speak the words you wish to hear. You cannot force their actions to match the words they do speak. You cannot force their ears to hear your own words. You cannot even force understanding. At the end of the day, you have to choose what you're willing to tolerate from those that surround you. If anything is forced, it's not real. Let it go and play out as it should.
