First Day of Fall | Theodore Roosevelt National Park

Today the kids and I kicked off fall with a trip to Theodore Roosevelt National Parks north unit near Watford City, North Dakota. We first stopped and got myself an iced coffee 👏🏻 in Watford and then continued the 14 miles to the park. The leaves are starting to change their colors! There was quite a bit of people there adventuring as well. It’s typically pretty quiet when we go. It was a beautiful day and absolutely perfect to be outdoors! We saw bison, turkeys, and longhorn cattle before even reaching the butte ball formations. They were enjoying the weather as well! No doubt, it’s going to be even more beautiful in the park in the next few weeks and will make a lovely next adventure there!
