Thanksgiving Day

Well thanksgiving is now over! I ran out this am to get a few last minute ingredients and coffees. Then got to work baking. I made my all time favorite pumpkin cheesecake pie and made a crust using ginger snap cookies which made it so amazing. Then I made mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, cheesy veggie casserole, stuffing, and buns. My oldest made an orange creamsicle dessert which turned out perfect. She was so proud! So we had the whole shebang. It was delicious and we have leftovers for days, as I predicted we would!

Then after a bit of cleanup, we got the Christmas tree put up! The kids broke all my ornaments over the summer so all it has right now is the lights. Can’t wait to get some new decorations for it though and make it cute.

I got my latest sweater design pattern written up and live. As well as a Black Friday sale. So now that it’s evening and that’s all done, it is time to read! I got a whole stack of new books over the last couple weeks that I can’t wait to read through. Starting with Secluded Cabin Sleeps Six by Lisa Unger. I read one book by her so far, Last Girl Ghosted and that one was amaaazing. So I’m pretty excited about this one!

I hope you all had a happy thanksgiving!
