Marquette, Michigan Photo Journal

Late mid July, I took a trip to Minnesota and Michigan. I had two kids attending a youth camp up near Marquette and it gave the perfect opportunity to see some places I’ve wanted to see for awhile! What a vibe. This trip was everything I’d ever dreamed of. We got good coffee (Biggby is fab), good food, excellent sights. I finally got to see my long awaited Pictured Rocks. It was amazing. We went to Miners Beach for a little swim. Adventured to Grand Sable Dunes to see the incredible Dunes formations. We got pasties in Munising, saw Munising Falls. Drove through the town of Christmas that was indeed all decked out in Christmas! Tried out contrast coffee for coffee and crepes which we ate at a view park next to Lake Superior. Of course we had to stop at the Lakenenland Sculpture Garden, always fun! Had ice cream at Jilberts. We spent sunset at Presque Isle State Park to see the lighthouse. Then ventured a little further down the beach to McCartys Cove to hang with my besties family for awhile and saw the Marquette Lighthouse. A couple of her kids were at camp with mine! That evening was the best. Nothing better than hanging in a beautiful place laughing and having fun with your fav people! We got back to the hotel pretty late and my sister that I brought along and my oldest and I placed a midnight dominos order. It was all around such a trip! Next summer, my bestie and I are planning to stay in a Airbnb type thing while the kids are at camp, can’t wait!
